In Snow Canyon, I explore the canyon as both a monumental body and a calm, watchful presence. Using ceramic stucco and acrylic, I created a rocky, grainy texture to evoke the surface of snow-covered stone.
Tiny climbers appear across the canyon, each facing a different path and challenge. Their vivid colors contrast with the quiet palette of white and blue, emphasizing the scale between vast nature and fragile human presence.
The canyon offers difficulty, but also motivation. It holds, watches, and invites them to continue. Through this contrast, I wanted to express how small we are within nature — and how deeply we belong to it.
