In the flowing curves and layered walls of Antelope Canyon, I sensed a feminine presence and the quiet dignity of time. Light filtering through narrow openings met deep shadow, revealing shifting colors and contours. Surrounded by that beauty, I felt as small as a grain of sand.

Yet the canyon itself was made of countless tiny grains. To me, it felt like a presence beyond worry—embracing everything, at ease with itself, simply delighting in being. In its company, my own smallness became a source of comfort.

Formed by One Another grew from this feeling. Human figures and canyon forms flow into one another, their curves becoming both bodies and landscape. They hold and shape each other, reflecting the ways our connections make us who we are.
